Who Needs IATF 16949 Certification?

CMMC is a shorter-term or an abbreviation for the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification and it’s a standard required by the DoD to all aspiring contractors and organizations to work with them.

Who Needs CMMI?

Originally, the CMMI is an approach that is recommended to businesses and to organizations that are only in the software development and acquisition industry. Now, though, it’s scattered even to systems improvements and developments, hardware, and the like!

Contrary to the CMMC, it’s not a requirement for you to work with government agencies. You can look at it and view it as something that you can use for the full development and enhancement of your business processes and procedures.

By being an ISO/IEC 20000 certified company, you’re being enabled to deploy the best practices and processes that are all for the development or for the improvement of your services.

ITIL vs. ISO/IEC 20000

The ITIL or the Information Technology Infrastructure Library is a collection of the best practices that businesses and organizations can or cannot follow. It’s just like gathered tips and strategies for businesses, and it’s your choice if you’ll follow it or not.

The ISO/IEC 20000, on the other hand, is a standard. Therefore, in order for you to become certified, you need to follow and abide by the standard’s rules and regulations. Then, you’ll become certified!
